Hopkinton lies 26.2 miles West of Boston (how do I know this? - because the Boston Marathon starts just down the road from where I lived) at the intersection of routes 85 and 135 and is about 5 miles south of the Mass Pike - the main East/West highway across the state - and a toll road as well. There's not a lot around here, plenty of forest and winding roads - but then all of Mass. is like that and lots of state troopers to keep me from speeding along said roads.
