Creativity....

(Okay, so my Web site isn't that creative but it's here for information, not a sound and light show....yet)

This 1000 piece one had the added challenge of there being no picture at all - not even on the box. The box shows another picture of other people viewing the actual scene depicted in the jigsaw. This one was an easy one. I've just purchased another 4000 piece Heye - that should keep me off the streets for 3 months.

Many months ago I had a creative vision that was nothing more than framing and mounting my 4000 piece jigsaw puzzle. It takes months to make it and I've decided that after making it 3 times I simply want to sit back and admire it. It's 5 ft by 4 ft and mounted behind a glass plate - large, heavy but I like to pretend I'm a carpenter (yes, I framed it all myself), plus, it forces me to buy tools. No matter how much of a sensitive, new age guy I think I might be, I can't get away from the fact I like having tools (I can already see the smirks of the less than purist minds). I guess the fact I spent years with my Dad learning how to strip down and rebuild motorcycles, plumbing and a bit of house building did that.
